Good morning y’all!
Bridesmaids Gifts
Here is another edition of the wedding planning process series and going along with the steps I’m taking with my planning process, we’re at the point to ask your bridesmaids to be your girls for the big day!
Recap
Last week’s edition was about bridesmaids as well, but this one is all about ideas of how exactly you should ask the girls to be there for you on your wedding day!
My Bridesmaids
First of all, I officially asked all of my bridesmaids and they all said YES! 🙂 My maid of honor will be Lauren, one of my best friends from high school. Even though we don’t go to school together, we still hang out almost every weekend when she is home from ODU and it’s like she never left. My matron of honor (yes I technically have two maids of honor, but this one will be married by the time it’s our turn to say ‘I Do’!) will be Kristina! Kristina is one of my closest friends in the wedding industry and just so happens to be a wedding photographer in Fredericksburg, VA as well. Courtney & Nikki will be bridesmaids and I’m so excited! Courtney is SO funny and I love that I can go to her for anything. Whether I need advice or just a girl’s night with wine, I love having her around. And last, but definitely not least, Nikki! I am SO so excited that this lovely lady said yes! She will also be our wedding photographer AND a bridesmaid – how sweet and dedicated is she?! I actually interned for Nikki last year and could not be more thankful for the amazing relationship we have formed.
What They Received
For their bridesmaid boxes, I contacted Brittney of Southern Grown Vintage and got to fully customize these boxes for my girls! They even came with gorgeous rose scented, rose flavored & delicious chocolate savories, champagne gummies, miniature champagne bottles for popping, blush ribbon, and beautifully hand-calligraphed tags! These all came packaged in a classic Kraft box! You can view some of them here & here!
Other Ideas For Your Girls
Southern Grown Vintage also has many other options which you can view on her website! There are different box options such as crates, wire baskets, and straw baskets too! Plus, you can even add in more items into their boxes if you want more, but I think the size I got for them was perfect! She has so many gift options to go inside and works alongside you to create a beautiful and fun theme for them! Some of the other options include sachets, soaps, nail polish, Turkish towels, hankies, etc.
There are also a whole variety of other shops that offer gifts for your girls! Some of them include Marigold & Grey, Favor Custom Gifts, and more!If you’re not interested in giving your girls boxes or baskets to ask them, consider some of the following other ideas:
1) “Will You Be My Bridesmaid?” Shirts
4) Wine Glasses
5) A Customized Wine Bottle Gift
