Jordan and Brad contacted me a while back when they booked their wedding at the Winery at Bull Run and were referred by a sweet friend who is also in the industry! We skyped to get to know one another better and it just seemed like the perfect fit! I absolutely adored Jordan and her Beyoncé-like attitude. She was so sweet, yet fierce! When she explained what she envisioned her wedding day to be, I about died because I just knew it was going to be epic. She talked about the lush greens that she wanted, the peonies, and the gorgeous bridesmaids’ dresses!
Jordan and Brad have been together for what seems like forever (10 years, yes – 10 YEARS) and their families were SO happy to finally see them tie the knot. I know I for one was SO excited!!
Nowadays, Jordan and Brad are obsessed with Survivor and Game of Thrones! It seems like Game of Thrones is SUPER popular with all of my couples these days so I’m definitely going to have to check it out. They are also workout fanatics and love exploring! I thought it was so funny how Brad explained that one of the things he loved about Jordan was the fact that loves Beyoncé so much. I never understood until the wedding day…
On the wedding day, I arrived to hear Jordan and her bridesmaids getting ready in the hotel room and jamming out to every known Beyoncé song. Then I realized that Jordan was a cheerleader and it all made so much sense! I loved it!!
Jordan was finishing up with her makeup when I arrived so I started photographing her details and I was so obsessed with their gold wedding bands! I feel like gold is seriously making a comeback and I’m totally fine with that. Anyone else?? So classic. When she finished her hair, I about died when I saw her mermaid braid. Jordan seriously looked like Jasmine (Disney princess) and all of her bridesmaids cheered with excitement!! Jordan was finally done getting ready and it was time for her to go see her man!!
We arrived at the Winery at Bull Run and Jordan put on her gorgeous dress. I adored all of the lace detail at the top and just WAIT until you see the back of her dress. Drop. Dead. Gorgeous. It fit her so perfectly and I pretty much did a little dance of excitement when it was on her!! Then her flowers arrived and I almost died again. SO PRETTY!! Colleen did an amazing job. The most amazing part of it all? The flower crown. Jordan had brought it up in conversation but was never set on anything so she just let Colleen do her thing and trusted her completely. Well, Colleen seriously delivered! Jordan literally looked like a goddess when she put it on and took a hold of her bouquet.
We walked together out to the ceremony site for their first look and Brad was so sweet when he saw her. The look on his face said it all – he was so ready for her to be his wife. Brad is pretty shy, but he couldn’t hold back how much he adored her and how gorgeous she looked!! We took some gorgeous portraits and then it was time for the ceremony!
The reception was so much fun. Jordan and Brad entered with their cool sunglasses on and looked like they belonged in a movie. I just adore them so much. The toasts were so good – some seriously funny stories about Jordan and Brad and it had everything cracking up. I was standing next to Brad’s mom during the toasts and she is just too sweet. She adores her son kept thanking me all night for being there – I just wanted to give her the biggest hug!
The reception was filled with amazing food, some super tasty doughnuts, awesome dancing, and glow sticks! I also LOVED how they had a buffet of little mini foods that gave everyone a pretty good variety to choose from. My favorite were the little pork sliders on a steamed bun! SO good. They also had little mini vegetable pizza slices that stole my heart away.
One of my favorite parts of the evening was watching Jordan her bridesmaids dominate the dancefloor whenever Beyoncé came on. It’s like everyone just knew it was time for them to get in formation! Jordan and Brad’s wedding was such a beautiful day and I am so happy for the two of them. Congratulations Jordan and Brad!
