Kailey + Tony

The Couple

Y’all – I am SO excited to share this wedding with you guys. It feels like I have been waiting forever for this day to come even though it hasn’t even been a year since I’ve met these two. The anticipation has been so real because as soon as that initial inquiry came into my inbox from a VERY excited bride-to-be, I just knew that this was going to be one of the best days ever! I absolutely adore Kailey’s positivity and amazing attitude towards all aspects of life. She is a manager at Cycle Bar in Richmond and I had never heard of that before I had met her! They are also lovers of Crossfit and the Spartan Race – SO cool!! I have been following along on Facebook and love seeing how supportive she is of all of her clients – it’s seriously like a community or a tribe. When you love something so much and get to share that with other people, you’ve found your tribe – cherish it.

Kailey’s initial email contained so much excited and I just LOVED it. She had found me on Instagram and said that she has LOVED stalking me on Instagram, haha! I just thought this was so amazing – it seems that Instagram is getting so much more popular for couples to find their wedding vendors! I love it! They met at work when Kailey had just moved to Richmond from New York and they eventually were on the same team together. Their relationship grew from there and when Tony finally knew that Kailey was the one that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, they went to Cape Charles. He proposed in their hotel and completely surprised her!

One of the biggest factors that I knew we were a great fit? Kailey LOVES ice cream as much as I do! I am a serious ice cream fanatic and Colby makes fun of me for it – I could seriously have plain chocolate ice cream every night for dessert and never get bored of it. It’s just so comforting and delicious. The best kind of ice cream? Frozen custard! Kailey & Tony are also fellow lovers of the art of “Netflix & chill” – this is a go-to date night for the two of them and Colby & I can seriously relate to this! We’re currently binge-watching This Is Us.

The Wedding

Kailey & Tony are honestly a match made in heaven. I can tell just by the way he treats her. He always takes care of her and puts her before himself and you can tell just by the way he looks at her. Kailey LOVES photos and it was one of her biggest priorities for the wedding even though Tony isn’t the biggest fan of PDA. However, after the engagement session, he felt so much more comfortable and he did a fantastic job on the wedding day! That’s some serious husband material right there.

When I arrived to Kailey’s room on Saturday, she had all of her girls in there while she finished getting ready. Her dad brought in her flowers and I photographed her gorgeous details. Take a look at her ring – it’s just PHENOMENAL! After the two opened their gifts from each other, Kailey got in her dress and it fit her so perfectly. That dress was literally made for her. We walked outside for the first look and I seriously can’t believe Tony’s reaction to her! One of the BEST groom reactions to his bride EVER!!

The Reception

Kailey & Tony’s reception was SO fun! I liked that they didn’t have an official set time for a sit-down dinner, but instead it was throughout the evening for everyone to grab as they wanted. Their reception was filled with laughter and so much dancing. They had an amazing playlist and I absolutely loved all of the modern dance songs they played!

They had one of the cutest “guest books” that you can see later – it was a canvas that had a picture/painting of the two of them in their wedding attire and it was to a T exactly what they were wearing! It was as if the artist who made it made Kailey’s wedding dress herself! They also had delicious cake pops – one flavor was Strawberry basil and it was my FAVORITE!

They ended the night with a super cute bubble exit and these are starting to be my favorite over sparklers! They just look SO cool and they are super safe and so romantic!! I am so happy for the two of you, Kailey & Tony – congratulations lovebirds!!
