Hi friends! I hope y’all are having a great start to the New Year. Are you getting excited for everything 2019 has in store for us? I know I sure am!! This blog post is all about family formals and how to effectively execute them on your wedding day! I wanted to start this year […]
I know that planning a wedding can be extremely overwhelming for those of you who don’t do this every weekend so that’s what I’m here for! Today’s advice is all about engagement sessions and some ideas of what to wear to look your best!
Wedding planning has been in full blown high gear lately for me as we are dwindling down to only 4 months left before the big day! It’s getting crazy y’all!! Something that we’ve been looking into recently has been a hotel block and I learned SO many different things that I would’ve never realized if I hadn’t been going through this myself. Going through this season of life and planning our wedding myself (along with Colby, of course) has really opened my eyes and gave me so much insight into what my brides really go through. I’d love to provide some advice to you ladies for some tips of what to ask and what to look for when reserving a hotel block!
Y’all – I’m here to talk to you about Father/Bride first looks! I for one am a huge fan of them. Why? Because just look at Kristen’s father’s expression on his face right below this!! These two are just so sweet and I am so happy that we took a few minutes to make this happen. Even if the day might be running a little late, seeing your dad before you walk down the aisle is such a special moment. I’d love to suggest some tips for brides planning these special moments in the future!
Y’all, I love being engaged and it has been such a fun time for Colby & I! One of the first things we did when we got engaged was to research wedding venues so that’s what today’s blog post is all about for y’all!
I hope you’re having a fantastic morning so far and getting as pumped for the weekend as I am. I have decided to start a new series on my blog dedicated just for my brides and future #jessbrides so y’all can be as educated as possible on all things wedding & engagement session related. I’m going to start categorizing these posts into the “tips for jess brides” category on my blog, as well as hash-tagging simple and quick tips on Instagram with #tipsforjessbrides. Hopefully these little tips throughout your wedding day process will inspire you and take a little stress off of your busy minds.
Here is another edition of the wedding planning process series and going along with the steps I’m taking with my planning process, we’re at the point to ask your bridesmaids to be your girls for the big day!
I’m so excited to share with y’all that Colby and I are officially engaged and have picked a wedding date of October 15th, 2017! With that being said, I am so excited to pick up on my wedding planning series with a whole new insight as we plan our wedding! We will be sharing an array of tips, tricks, and fun facts that are all wedding-planning related to hopefully help influence your wedding-planning process and take a little stress off of your shoulders! And if you are a #Jessbride, don’t forget to reference to your bridal guide for more tips! 🙂
In the past, I have seen it happen time and time again. Clients will ask me advice on what to wear to their engagement session, I’ll offer some classy options such as a dress, and they automatically rule it out because they think it’ll be too expensive!
