As the best Virginia Baby Photographer, we have photographed countless sweet babies and their families in our studio! Sweet baby Sawyer joined us in the studio for his 6 month session when his mama forgot to get any portraits done with him yet! This actually happens quite a bit, and we love being able to serve our clients and their families regardless of what age their baby is. We love baby milestone sessions because it is such a fun way to document your baby at such a sweet moment in their life, that way you can hold onto those memories forever. Elesia found me through a friend she met (one of my sweet baby plan members) in a local moms group in Alexandria, Virginia!
Sawyer is hands-down the happiest 6 month old I have photographed up to this point! He was SO bubbly and happy, and honestly made his session the world’s easiest portrait session. He even tolerated an outfit change, and just WAIT until you see his amazing baby rolls below! Am I the only one obsessed with chunky babies?!
How Baby Milestone Sessions Work
For baby milestone sessions, most families either involve the entire family or do a baby-only session. It’s completely up to you and your preferences! Many families take us up on the opportunity to have updated full family photos since they’re at the studio for a session and it’s included in our booking fee anyways. We leave that up to you to decide how involved you’d like to be in your child’s milestone session.
For all of our portrait sessions, we hand-style the entire family. We have a luxurious wardrobe of over 150 dresses for moms to choose from, and children clothing up to size 5T! So we even have clothes for your big toddler brother or sister! 🙂 The wardrobe is included with our sessions, as well as professional hair & makeup for mom! That way, all you do is show up to the studio (or location of your choosing), pajamas and all, and our hair & makeup artist pampers you before your session! Then, you get dressed using our designer clothes and leave the rest to us!
