Guess WHAT!! Fall is approaching!! Literally – in 11 DAYS!! AHH!! In honor of the first day of Fall, that’s when I’m hosting my FIRST of a few mini sessions I’m doing this Fall!! I have received a ton of requests throughout this year that I wasn’t able to do because of my crazy wedding schedule!! However, with that being said… that is why I’m hosting my annual mini sessions again!! 🙂
Jordan and Brad contacted me a while back when they booked their wedding at the Winery at Bull Run and were referred by a sweet friend who is also in the industry! We skyped to get to know one another better and it just seemed like the perfect fit! I absolutely adored Jordan and her Beyoncé-like attitude. She was so sweet, yet fierce! When she explained what she envisioned her wedding day to be, I about died because I just knew it was going to be epic. She talked about the lush greens that she wanted, the peonies, and the gorgeous bridesmaid’s dresses!
I hope you’re having a fantastic morning so far and getting as pumped for the weekend as I am. I have decided to start a new series on my blog dedicated just for my brides and future #jessbrides so y’all can be as educated as possible on all things wedding & engagement session related. I’m going to start categorizing these posts into the “tips for jess brides” category on my blog, as well as hash-tagging simple and quick tips on Instagram with #tipsforjessbrides. Hopefully these little tips throughout your wedding day process will inspire you and take a little stress off of your busy minds.
I could not be more excited to be sharing today’s engagement session from Old Town Alexandria with Megan and Ben! A fellow UMW Eagle is on the blog – AHH! Their relationship, personalities, and love for each other is so unique…
I am so thrilled to be sharing today’s engagement session from Roanoke, VA with Rachel and Daniel! These two have such a unique relationship that truly tugs at some heart strings…
Good morning y’all!
I hope y’all are recovering well from the past week that we were covered in snow and are so excited to celebrate Lauren and Tyler’s engagement as much as I am!
I am beyond excited to finally share these images with y’all because their wedding day and their love story is truly one of a kind. When I first heard from Lindsey and Clay, I knew that we were just made for each other at the mention of their love for dessert and their love of heirlooms. Speaking of which, Lindsey’s ring was made from Clay’s grandmother’s engagement ring! She passed away right before they got engaged and this was a little way of having them there on their wedding day even when she couldn’t physically be there herself.
I’m so excited to share with y’all that Colby and I are officially engaged and have picked a wedding date of October 15th, 2017! With that being said, I am so excited to pick up on my wedding planning series with a whole new insight as we plan our wedding! We will be sharing an array of tips, tricks, and fun facts that are all wedding-planning related to hopefully help influence your wedding-planning process and take a little stress off of your shoulders! And if you are a #Jessbride, don’t forget to reference to your bridal guide for more tips! 🙂
I knew immediately when I first heard from JD + Joo that we would get along perfectly. They are two of the most funny and entertaining people I have met to this day! When they explained (in depth) how they met, their first dates, etc, they literally told a third person story of everything so I could see it from both sides! I was DYING laughing reading this entertaining novel they wrote. Their love for each other is so sweet and I just can’t get enough of it. Their Georgetown engagement session on the waterfront shows nothing less than that either!
In the past, I have seen it happen time and time again. Clients will ask me advice on what to wear to their engagement session, I’ll offer some classy options such as a dress, and they automatically rule it out because they think it’ll be too expensive!
