Guess WHAT!! Fall is approaching!! Literally – in 11 DAYS!! AHH!! In honor of the first day of Fall, that’s when I’m hosting my FIRST of a few mini sessions I’m doing this Fall!! I have received a ton of requests throughout this year that I wasn’t able to do because of my crazy wedding schedule!! However, with that being said… that is why I’m hosting my annual mini sessions again!! 🙂
When I first heard from Justin & Theresa through my contact form, I immediately knew that we were going to be a perfect fit because of their humor! They started off their love story by saying “we found love in a hopeless place” and I mean, come on y’all, who wouldn’t crack up at that?! Why was it a hopeless place? They met on Tinder!! So maybe not so hopeless at all!! They both had a love for corgi’s which made them swipe right on each other. Thank GOODNESS for Rascal, their sweet little pup that you’ll see all throughout this blog post. I absolutely LOOOOOVE that Justin woo’d Theresa over with this precious line: “I bet you a date and a bottle of wine that you swiped right for Rascal”. I wonder who won that bet?!
I know that planning a wedding can be extremely overwhelming for those of you who don’t do this every weekend so that’s what I’m here for! Today’s advice is all about engagement sessions and some ideas of what to wear to look your best!
Hey friends!! I absolutely cannot believe that we are SO close to December. Baby Hendricks turned 23 weeks today and we are so excited to share his name we chose for him with you all!! *drumroll*
We are so excited to share this journey of life with all of you!! We’ve been waiting to share the news with everyone – we finally found out if Baby Hendricks is a BOY or a GIRL!!! The polls on Facebook and Instagram were pretty close – it was almost 50/50!!
Jordan and Tyler got married last weekend at Amber Grove Inn in Richmond, VA and they have such a sweet story!! The two of them met at James Madison University through a mutual friend who was absolutely positive that they would hit it off! I guess she was right, because look where they are now! More in love now than they ever have been before!! After they were set up, it only took about 3 months for them to end up dating. One of my favorite parts of their story is their proposal that Jordan told me all about!! One of Tyler’s favorite things in the world (besides Jordan, of course!) is the Ole Miss Rebels. He got the two of them tickets while they were playing in Orlando, Florida so what could have made it any better?! A trip to Disney, duh!! 🙂
To this day, I still remember the exact moment that Megan and Ben sent along their inquiry into my inbox. Ding! I opened it up, excited to hear about the newly engaged couple! As soon as I read the words “met in high school” and “10 years later, we’re engaged”, I got so giddy!! I absolutely ADORE a good love story and boy, do they have one! Megan and Ben met in high school y’all. How sweet is that?!
Wedding planning has been in full blown high gear lately for me as we are dwindling down to only 4 months left before the big day! It’s getting crazy y’all!! Something that we’ve been looking into recently has been a hotel block and I learned SO many different things that I would’ve never realized if I hadn’t been going through this myself. Going through this season of life and planning our wedding myself (along with Colby, of course) has really opened my eyes and gave me so much insight into what my brides really go through. I’d love to provide some advice to you ladies for some tips of what to ask and what to look for when reserving a hotel block!
Y’all – I’m here to talk to you about Father/Bride first looks! I for one am a huge fan of them. Why? Because just look at Kristen’s father’s expression on his face right below this!! These two are just so sweet and I am so happy that we took a few minutes to make this happen. Even if the day might be running a little late, seeing your dad before you walk down the aisle is such a special moment. I’d love to suggest some tips for brides planning these special moments in the future!
I met JD and Joo for their engagement session a year and a half ago at sunrise in Georgetown and it was such a beautiful day! I learned so much about the two of them through their engagement session and then even more on their wedding day. They are so caring towards each other and have such sweet hearts. I love the sweet smile that Joo gets every single time she looks up at JD – SO stinkin’ cute! And the way JD just adores her?! Absolutely priceless!
